ASRY Shipyard in Bahrain, founded 1977, can offer 500,000 dwt drydock capablity and two large floating docks. The yard's portfolio includes also servicing offshore platforms. Saudi oil major Saudi Aramco is developing a $ 5.2 billion maritime and shipbuilding complex in the Persian Gulf. Once completed, the 1.7 square mile complex will be the largest yard of its kind in the Arabian Gulf and will offer a range of services from large shipbuilding and ship repair, offshore rig fabrication, and offshore support vessel repair.
