Our Story
TrustedDocks started in 2016 as a simple but much-needed shipyard directory — a reliable place where maritime professionals could find and compare ship repair facilities around the world.
Over the years, the platform evolved into a complete maritime B2B information hub. Today, TrustedDocks provides a comprehensive vessel database including owners, managers, and operators; schedule information for container and cruise lines; port state control (PSC) inspection records; detention data; and a live news archive covering the latest developments across the industry.

Launched as a shipyard directory — a dedicated platform where fleet managers, superintendents, and procurement officers could discover and compare ship repair yards worldwide.
Evolving Into a Data Platform
Step by step, the platform expanded beyond shipyard listings: a full vessel database with ownership, management, and operator data; container and cruise schedules; PSC records; detention history; and a maritime news archive — all in one place.
New-Ships.com Joins the Family
The well-established orderbook service new-ships.com was acquired and fully integrated. It now serves detailed information on the global shipbuilding market — tracking newbuilding orders, deliveries, and yard capacity for shipyards, equipment builders, and the entire industry.
PortTracker AIS Integration
The well-established porttracker.co AIS tracking system was integrated, offering full acquisition and processing of terrestrial and satellite AIS data. Users from around the world enjoy innovative features and can easily connect AIS data using their Android phones as receivers.
