Port Call Risk Assessment
Pick a vessel and the port of the next call — we combine the ship's PSC history, its segment benchmark, the flag's tier, and the port's inspection behaviour into a 1–9 risk level with a port-specific pre-arrival checklist.
How the risk level works
- Likelihood — time since the ship's last inspection in the region, its PSC tier, recent detentions, flag-state tier, and how aggressively the port (re-)inspects.
- Severity — the port's deficiency and detention rates vs the global benchmark, plus overlap between the ship's recent findings and the areas this port hits hardest.
- Level 1–9 — likelihood band × severity band. 1–3 monitor, 4–6 prepare, 7–9 escalate.
