Yangzhou COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited, was established in May 2007 with registered capital of RMB 6.3 billion. The company primarily manufactures medium-to-large vessels and floating structures. Rooted in lean design, manufacturing, and management, the company focuses on technological innovation and promotes "green production, digital operations, and intelligent manufacturing." Since its founding, the company has successfully delivered over 220 vessels of various types, totaling 22 million deadweight tons, to shipowners worldwide. The company is located in the Jiangdu Yanjiang Development Zone (provincial level) in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, on the left bank of the Jiajiang River, where the Huaihe River flows into the Yangtze River, and 3 kilometers from the Yangtze River estuary. The company occupies 2.95 million square meters and enjoys 3,500 meters of prime shipbuilding waters. It is equipped with seven large berths, one 80,000-ton dry dock, and two 400,000-ton dry docks, with a planned annual production capacity of 3.5 million deadweight tons. The company has passed the CCS "Integration of Industrialization and Informationization System" certification, and the DNV-GL Certification Center's ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001 "three-in-one" quality, environment, and occupational health and safety management system certification. It has been shortlisted for the first batch of national "Ship Industry Standard Conditions" enterprises, is a national safety production standardization second-level enterprise and an energy-saving demonstration enterprise, and its products have been recognized by many classification societies (ABS, BV, CCS, DNV-GL, KR, LR, NK, RINA).
