With 50 acres and 1 mile of waterfront property, Bollinger Amelia Repair offers full service aluminum and steel vessel repair and a wide range of conversion services that can increase the length of a boat or barge, significantly increasing cargo capacity, speed and efficiency. The acres available offers storage area for rigs, risers, suction piles and other industry equipment. The facility houses 30,000 feet of enclosed fabrication facilities with two 10 ton overhead cranes, two warehouses, full sandblasting and painting facilities as well as full service machine shop with shaft straightener, carpentry and electrical shops. Bollinger Amelia Repair has ample wet dock area for vessel and leg repairs and offers docking capacity to repair vessels up to 8100 tons in its largest dry dock, which has a 110-foot clear span between the wing walls. The 2,200 ton dock is well suited for barge repair which has 68-foot clearance between wing walls with a length of 180 feet. A variety of crawler cranes, up to 230 ton single lift capacity, and a wide range of smaller mobile cranes are available for the most demanding lifting requirements.
