MEST SHIPYARD

MEST is staffed with highly qualified personnel and a well-equipped tool and machine park. We ensure that customers get a quick and reliable service so that they can get on their way as soon as possible.Whether damage occurs through a collision, fire or because of malfunctioning equipment, we have the equipment and experience to repair it. In the past we have worked with a number of certification and insurance companies. MEST Yard is a modern shipyard with traditions dating back to 1904 and is situated in the middle of the capital Tórshavn, and in Skála on the Island Eysturoy. The company can offer new buildings up to 60 meters, has three slip´s and one dry dock. With a slip capacity at 2500 tonnes, one dry dock, modern workshops and engineering- and drawing department, the company can provide rebuildings and repairs of vessels up to 120 meters.
