Yiulian Dockyards(Zhoushan) LTD.( former ZESCO and Zhejiang Dongfang Shipbuilding & Repair) , was established in May 5th, 2007. Since April, 2018, it was taken over by China Merchants Industry Group, and became a third level company under China Merchants Group. YLZS’ primary business is for design, manufacture, repair, modification, renovation, dismantle, marketing and other related business in various ships and marine engineering and facilities. It can also provide offshore module processing and manufacturing; mechanical equipment designing, manufacturing and installation; import and export for cargo or technology. There are 545 employees in YLZS, among which 66 are core technology members, majoring large modification, repair and modification of cruise ship, and clean energy. It is located at the intersection of China’s North-South shipping channel and the Golden Waterway of Yangtze River, only 15 sea miles from Yangshan deep water port, the international shipping center in Shanghai. There are two 300000 ton wharf and two dry dock of 300000 ton and 150000 ton each. Covering an area of 879 acre, with coast line of 1892 meters, there are Machinery Workshop, Steel Workshop, Workshop for Chemical Cleaning, Dormitory and other living facilities as well. YLZS was nominated as “Enterprise Research and Development Center In Zhoushan” and It has been awarded the titles of "Zhejiang Province Second-Class Enterprise for Safety Production Standardization," "Zhejiang Province Model Workers' Home," "Zhoushan City's Top Ten Taxpaying Manufacturing Enterprises," "Zhoushan City's Green Shipbuilding & Repair Enterprise," and "Daishan County's Leading Industrial Enterprise."
