Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd is established in 1966 (completed operations in 1976). This shipyard, also known as Chuandong or Fuling Shipyard—is a subsidiary of the state-owned China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). The company has two production bases locates in Chongqing, covers an area of 1.54 million square meters & 0.87 million square meter respectively. It’s Located in Fuling District, Chongqing. covering an area of 1.54 million square meters, with 3,000 meters of river shoreline and 100,000 square meters of indoor shipbuilding production lines, 6 indoor and outdoor slipways with capacities of 5,000 tons to 10,000 tons, three outfitting wharf with capacities of 10,000 tons. The company has ability to design and manufacture all kinds of ships under 10,000 DWT. Its special focus is small size chemical tankers. Its annual production capacity reaches up to 12 vessels.
