Hengli Heavy Industry acquired STX Dalian Shipyard, and is a rapidly growing Chinese shipbuilding company (part of the larger Hengli Group) that is making significant strides in both domestic and international markets. The company has a strong focus on high-end shipbuilding, marine engineering, and advanced engine production, including dual-fuel engines. Hengli is also expanding its operations through strategic acquisitions and a large-scale industrial park development. Hengli is involved in the construction of various vessel types, including VLCCs, LR2 tankers, large container ships, and very large ammonia carriers. It also developed its own marine engine division, including the production of China's first domestically produced LPG dual-fuel 6G60 engine and a methane dual-fuel 8G95 engine.
