Wisdom Marine Group

Wisdom Marine Group, founded in March 1999 by James Lan, is Taiwan's largest dry bulk shipowner by number of vessels. The company is listed on both the Taiwan Stock Exchange (since 2010, stock code “2637”) and the London Stock Exchange (since 2013). Its primary business involves the acquisition, management, and operation of dry bulk vessels, with a particular focus on the handysize sector. Beyond vessel operations, Wisdom Marine Group also provides services such as vessel management and maintenance, vessel chartering, vessel leasing, and shipping agency and management. The group employs over 2700 seafarers and more than 160 shore staff, operating a modern fleet of high-quality Japanese-built vessels.
