About MOL Sunflower Ltd.

MOL Sunflower Ltd. is a Japanese ferry operator running "Sunflower" passenger and vehicle ferries between the Kansai region and Kyushu, on the Osaka–Beppu, Kobe–Oita and Osaka–Shibushi (Kagoshima) routes, as well as a route between the Tokyo metropolitan area and Hokkaido. Its fleet includes the Sunflower Kurenai and Murasaki (in service from 2023), the Gold and Pearl (2007–2008), and the Satsuma and Kirishima (2018), and it carries both passengers and freight. The company was formed on 1 October 2023 through the merger of Ferry Sunflower and MOL Ferry.
