IRANIAN OFFSHORE OIL CO

The Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) is a state-owned subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), specializing in the exploration, development, production, and operation of offshore oil and natural gas fields. With over fifty years of experience, IOOC is recognized as one of the world's largest offshore oil-producing companies. It primarily operates in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman, managing key hydrocarbon assets and contributing approximately one-third of Iran's oil exports. The company's operations are spread across six districts: Bahregan, Kharg, Sirri, Lavan, Qeshm, and Kish, which are centered around strategic islands and coastal infrastructure in Bushehr Province. IOOC was established on September 20, 1980, following the nationalization of Iran's offshore oil operations.
