The Yard offers both Graving Dock and Syncrolift which provide ample dock space and allow Clients’ Vessels to be docked upon arrival. The Group’s three yards at Batam, with naturally sheltered deep waterfront, has land sizes of thirty and sixteen hectares. The yards are located in a free trade zone at Batam with industrial areas designated specifically for shipyards with developed infrastructure such as roads, telecommunications, utilities and supporting services. One of the yard is equipped with a 300,000 dwt graving dry dock and two medium-sized graving dry docks of 60,000 dwt and 20,000 dwt, which is capable of repairing up to Capesize vessels.

PaxOcean Nanindah specialises in shipbuilding and steel fabrication, with a core focus on the construction of vessels supporting the offshore oil and gas market. Nanindah has also been recognized for its keen repair capabilities and quick turnaround. Since 2007, PaxOcean Nanindah has successfully completed construction of high-technology specialty vessels such as DP3 compact semi-submersibles, high specification platform supply vessels and freezer fishing trawlers. Operating on 570,000m2 of land with 15 building berths, the yard is capable of executing 15 concurrent newbuilding projects.

PaxOcean Pertama is situated on a 280,000m2 site on the north-western coast of Batam, and shares a common boundary with our Graha yard, while lying within close proximity to Nanindah. This enables us to utilise our yard resources with greater flexibility to meet our customers’ needs. The yard offers docking of Panamax-sized vessels and afloat repairs of VLCC-sized vessels to the marine and offshore sector. PaxOcean Pertama has become one of the premier ship repair and conversion yards in Batam. Having experienced in complex conversions of cement carriers, landing craft vessels, offshore heavy lift and accommodation barges. The yard also fabricates vessel sections in support of the Nanindah yard, and has garnered a strong track record of building specialty offshore support vessels. Launched in December 2025, PaxOcean Singapore @ 5JS is strategically located in the heart of Jurong’s industrial and maritime hub, providing unrivalled access to Singapore’s marine and offshore ecosystem. Set across 17.26 hectares with 1,250 m of prime waterfront and three berthing piers, PaxOcean Singapore @ 5JS is a next-generation shipyard built to take on vessels up to Suezmax size, anchored by two graving docks and one floating dock that deliver scale, speed and flexibility. At the heart of the yard is an 8,400 sqm Integrated Workshop, engineered for complex marine and offshore projects, where streamlined workflows and close dry-dock proximity translate into faster execution and higher productivity. The Integrated Workshop includes a dedicated 648 sqm Cryogenic Workshop to support repairs of critical LNG systems for LNG carriers and LNG-fuelled vessels. A purpose-built Module and Steel Workshop, equipped with 25-ton overhead cranes, drives efficient fabrication of large structural modules and outfitted blocks. An expansive open fabrication and storage area, designed for up to 20 kPa loading capacity, enables seamless assembly, staging and load-out of large-scale modules and other fabricated structures. Completing the ecosystem is a 6,800 sqm solar-powered corporate office and Client Business Centre, an Engineering Centre of Excellence and the iHub5 innovation hub, positioning 5JS as a launchpad for efficient, sustainable and future-ready ship repair, conversion and newbuild solutions.
