Astilleros Internacionales de Tampico (AIT), part of Grupo TMM, is a full-service shipyard physically located in Pueblo Viejo, Veracruz, within the Tampico metropolitan area, Mexico. Tampico is used as the principal commercial and geographic reference. AIT provides drydocking and afloat repairs, steel fabrication, mechanical and hydraulic work, piping, blasting and coating, conversions, and project management for vessels operating in the Gulf of Mexico and nearby Caribbean routes. Its floating docks are BAMBINO (106 m × 29 m × 4.0 m; 6,500 t lifting capacity) and ABDF2 (59 m × 33 m × 5.8 m; 3,000 t lifting capacity), supported by a 120 t crane. Final docking acceptance is subject to vessel draft, displacement, docking plan, and internal technical review.
