FINCANTIERI-TRIESTE-SHIPYARD
Trieste ATSM is a historic shipyard of the north Adriatic sea, which in the past built many ships famous in the history of the Italian Navy. The site is located in the North Adriatic Sea and consists of two graving docks, one for large vessels and one for medium-sized vessels. The docks are equipped with a full range of facilities such as drinking water, technical services, refrigeration, fire water, cranes, storage spaces, workshops necessary for dry-dock and refitting operations. In addition, dock n° 4 is equipped with a self-guiding winch system which enables vessels to approach the dock even in the presence of strong winds. The drydock floor is accessible by trucks.
