Established in 1951 and covering 1.4 million m², China Merchants Weihai Shipyard has over 4,500 staff. The yard specializes in newbuilding with facilities including two dry docks (180,000 and 150,000 DWT) and a 50,000 DWT slipway. SHIPYARD

Weihai Sanjin Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is a shipbuilding and repair enterprise integrating newbuilding and shipbuilding, with a total area of ​​824,306 square meters. It boasts a 100,000-ton drydock (320m*41.5m*11.9m) equipped with a 450-ton gantry crane, a 100,000-ton floating drydock (220m*37m*18.2m), two 100,000-ton slipways (384m*10m) equipped with two 240-ton tower cranes, and an outfitting quay totaling over 1,800 meters, all of which are open to the public. Weihai Sanjin Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has delivered 50 vessels, primarily to European shipowners, including 42 bulk carriers (33.5K, 36K, and 58K), two large cargo carriers, three oil and chemical tankers, one PCTC (Peripheral Carrier Transport) vessel, one container ship, and one floating drydock. While focusing on the construction of small and medium-sized vessels, the company is also actively expanding its conversion business of EGCS (Exhaust Gas Scrubbers) and ballast water treatment systems (BWTS) by leveraging its technological strengths. Following its restructuring, Shin San Jin began new shipbuilding in January 2016 and began ship repair and conversion services in July 2018.
