History Founded in 1960 by Mr. Habip BAYRAK in Istanbul, Çeksan Shipyard initially focused on the construction of wooden and steel vessels. Parallel to the evolving needs of the maritime sector, the company transitioned to full steel construction in 1979 and moved to its current location in Tuzla Bay in 1986 to increase capacity. Following extensive infrastructure modernization in the 1990s, the shipyard continues its operations today under the management of the third-generation Bayrak family, delivering value to the global shipping industry with half a century of expertise.
