Quick Crew Response Brings Sabuk Nusantara 91 Fire Under Control in Bali

The Indonesia-flagged passenger vessel Sabuk Nusantara 91 caught fire in waters near Talango Island, Sumenep, East Java, on 19 October, around 90 minutes after departing Kalianget Port for Sapeken Island. The crew brought the fire under control within 20 minutes and carried out cooling operations to prevent reignition. All passengers were safe, with no casualties reported. The vessel subsequently continued its voyage towards Kangean Port.
