Tankers Attack Near Strait of Hormuz Injures Crew

At least four tanker strikes have been reported in and around the Strait of Hormuz since September 17. The latest involved the LR Stephanie on September 21, which was hit during its inbound transit, injuring two crew members. The Al Maryah, a 54,474-dwt LPG tanker, was struck by a drone on September 20 while sailing eastbound outside the strait. The vessel sustained no major damage, and all 19 crew, including nine Indians, were safe.
