Drifting Tanker Pioneer 1 Safely Towed to Tekirdağ
The Russian-flagged tanker Pioneer 1 was towed to Tekirdağ Anchorage after suffering engine failure and drifting off the Marmara coast on 5 September. A tugboat and emergency vessel assisted the tanker. All crew were safe, with no pollution reported.
