Jamaica-Flagged Cargo Ship DONG SHENG Detained in Matsuyama

The general cargo/multipurpose vessel DONG SHENG (IMO 8357423) has been detained following a Port State Control inspection under the Tokyo MoU. The inspection took place at the port of Matsuyama on 27 Aug 2026. Inspectors recorded a total of 11 deficiencies during the check, two of which were assessed as detainable, prompting authorities to hold the vessel in port until the issues are addressed.
