Gas Carrier Navigator Atlantic Detained in Chittagong

The gas carrier NAVIGATOR ATLANTIC (IMO 9662019) was detained following a Port State Control inspection at the port of Chittagong on 08 Jul 2026, conducted under the Indian Ocean Memorandum of Understanding (Indian MoU). Inspectors recorded a total of 20 deficiencies during the inspection, one of which was assessed as detainable, prompting authorities to hold the vessel pending corrective action. The Danish-flagged ship is managed by NAVIGATIOR GAS SHIP MANAGEMENT(DENMARK) APS, the ISM company responsible for its safety management.
