Oil Tanker Yong Shun Detained in Aden

The oil tanker YONG SHUN (IMO 9009944) was detained following a Port State Control inspection at the Yemeni port of Aden, under the authority of the Indian Ocean MoU regime, according to a detention report dated 25 Jul 2026. Inspectors recorded a total of 15 deficiencies during the check, one of which was classified as detainable, prompting authorities to hold the vessel in port. The YONG SHUN, which sails under the flag of Comoros, is managed under the International Safety Management Code by CORSICA SHIPPING CO.
