Adnoc Tankers Targeted in Fresh Strait of Hormuz Attacks

Two Adnoc-linked tankers, Navig8 Messi and Tarif, were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz on August 13, in the latest incidents targeting UAE-linked shipping. One tanker was hit while sailing outbound through the strait, suffering minor damage. No injuries were reported, and both vessels remained operational and continued their voyages under their own power. The UAE Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks, calling them a violation of freedom of navigation and accusing Iran of using vessel attacks as a form of economic coercion.
