Houthis Claim Attack on Two Saudi Oil Tankers in Red Sea

Yemen's Houthi movement claimed responsibility for attacks on two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea on 22 July. The group said it targeted the tankers Encelia and Layla with drones and missiles, alleging the vessels had violated its maritime embargo. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the group would continue its naval operations in the Red Sea.
