Cargo Vessel Regalo Runs Aground Off Tekirdağ, Türkiye

The rice-laden cargo vessel Regalo ran aground off the coast of Tekirdağ, Türkiye, in the Sea of Marmara on 13 July, prompting Turkish authorities to launch a salvage operation. The vessel was carrying 27,500 tonnes of rice at the time of the grounding. All 20 crew members remain safely on board, with no injuries or pollution reported.
