Ardmore Shipping Orders Two Additional Chemical Carriers

Ardmore Shipping Bermuda Ltd has exercised options for two additional 40,500 DWT Handysize chemical carriers to be built at WUHU SHIPYARD CO LTD, expanding its original order to four vessels. The deliveries are scheduled between October 2028 and December 2029. The vessels will be conventional fuel-powered and are part of Ardmore's strategy to grow its modern fleet of product and chemical tankers. Ardmore has also secured two further options under similar terms, providing flexibility for future expansion. The company operates a fully integrated model managing commercial, technical, and operational functions internally, supporting global trade through the transportation of refined products and chemicals. This move strengthens Ardmore's relationship with the shipbuilder and aligns with its long-term business objectives.
