Passenger Catamaran Involved in Fatal Collision with Sailboat Off Split

Four people died after the passenger catamaran Krilo Eclipse collided with a sailboat in Croatia's Split Straits on 14 June. No oil pollution was observed. The collision occurred in the Splitske Vrata passage, causing the sailboat carrying eight passengers to sink. Four were rescued, and three lost their lives. Next day, divers recovered the body of the fourth victim from the wreck, located at a depth of more than 50 meters. The damaged Krilo Eclipse was towed to the Port of Split, where authorities launched an investigation into the incident.
