Over 160 Tankers Remain Stranded in Middle East Gulf

More than 160 mainstream tankers have been stranded in the Middle East Gulf for over 100 days since hostilities began in late February. Despite some 25% of the tankers present at the start of the conflict having exited the region, a significant number of vessels remain marooned. The prolonged presence of these ships highlights ongoing challenges in maritime operations amid the regional tensions. The situation continues to impact shipping schedules and regional trade flows.
