The crew initially tackled the fire, which reportedly originated in a generator, before German emergency teams confirmed the blaze had been extinguished. No injuries were reported. One lock chamber was temporarily closed during the response operation, and the vessel was later moved to the North Harbour for inspection. No injuries reported in the incident.
