Blue Star 3 Intercepted by U.S. Marines Amid Iran Shipping Crackdown

U.S. Central Command, (CENTCOM)stated that Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted the boarding after suspecting the vessel Blue Star 3 was en route to Iran in violation of restriction on 27 April. A subsequent search confirmed the ship had no scheduled Iranian port calls, and it was released. On 26 April CENTCOM intercepted another vessel Stream that was en-route for Iran port.
