Tanker Altura Attacked Near Bosphorus, Crew Safe

The crude tanker Altura was damaged in an incident in the Black Sea on 26 March, around 14 miles off the Bosphorus. No injuries were reported among the 27 crew.The vessel, sailing from Novorossiysk with an estimated 140,000 tonnes of crude oil, sustained damage to its bridge and engine room, with reports of water ingress.Turkish rescue units, including assets from the Turkish Coastal Safety General Directorate, were deployed to support the operation. Media reports suggest a possible drone-related attack, authorities have not confirmed the cause.
