**VOLGA-4007 avoids detention at Romano port**
The general cargo ship VOLGA-4007 underwent a detailed inspection by the Med MoU at Romano port on 14 Mar 2026 and was cleared without detention.
Inspections covered the accommodation and galley, engine room, navigation bridge, outside decks and forecastle, and steering room, while communication equipment checks and an emergency steering drill were also observed.
Inspectors recorded five deficiencies, none of which were detainable. The 37-year-old Cook Islands-flagged vessel of 4,911 gross tonnage, IMO 8728816, is managed by Lassag Overseas Inc and holds valid class certificates issued by PHRS.
The vessel remains free to sail.
