Cargo Vessel Grounds Near Roskilde Fjord, No Injuries Reported

The cargo vessel Baltic Wind grounded on 18 February on a sandbank near the entrance to Roskilde Fjord in Isefjord while sailing from Frederiksværk.No injuries or pollution were reported. The 88.6-metre vessel remains aground, and the Danish Maritime Authority has detained the ship pending a damage assessment. Authorities confirmed the incident occurred outside the main fairway, leaving traffic unaffected. The vessel will undergo hull inspection after refloating before being towed to port.
