HHI, or Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction Philippines, was a shipbuilding company established in February 2006 in the Philippines by South Korea's Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction. Its first shipbuilding contract for four container ships was signed in the same month, followed by the commencement of shipyard construction on Redondo Peninsula, Subic Bay, in May 2006.
