CHINA MERCHANTS JINLING SHIPYARD was founded in 1951, experienced and witnessed the prosperity and development of the shipbuilding industry of China. As a state-owned backbone shipbuilding enterprise, it has two factories in Nanjing and Yizheng, covering a total area of 1.23 million square meters, a shoreline of two kilometers, annual shipbuilding capacity of reaching 2 million deadweight tons. Jinling Shipyard is a bonded factory of Chinese Customs, It has the right to self-manage import and export business. Jinling obtained the "Environment, Occupational Health, Quality, and Energy Management" system certification, and has the "Grade One Class I Steel Ship Manufacturing Enterprise" qualification which represents the highest standard of shipbuilding in China, is the first batch of shipyard in China that passed the review of the "Standard Conditions for Shipping Enterprises. On the premises of Nanjing factory, eight ships with 60,000 tons each can be built simultaneously; in Yizheng factory, two dry docks are arranged in parallel; three wharves can berth multiple ships for outfitting and mooring test.Each dry dock is equipped with two 500-ton gantry cranes can joint lifting and improve the shipbuilding efficiency. Jinling Shipyard can manufacture almost all kinds of high quality vessels according to different most popular classification societies’ regulation and latest standard, like RoRo vessel, chemical tanker, oil tanker, cement carrier, offshore platform supply vessel, container vessel, multi-purpose heavy lift vessel, bulk carrier, floating dock, semi-submersible vessel and gas carrier.
