Houthi Missile Claim Target Tanker Daisy in Gulf of Aden

The Houthi-controlled Yemeni Armed Forces claimed on 5 August they targeted the Saudi tanker Daisy with a ballistic missile in the Gulf of Aden, alleging the strike damaged the vessel and forced it to reverse course. The group said the attack was part of its campaign to enforce a maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia under its "siege for siege" policy. The claims have not been independently verified.
