Entering the Seaport in Seattle

Approaching Seattle Seaport

As you approach the Seattle Seaport, keep a lookout for the entrance channel markers. The entrance channel is marked by a green buoy on the port side and a red buoy on the starboard side. Stay within the channel and maintain a safe speed.

Communicating with the Port Authority

Before entering the seaport, you must contact the Port Authority on VHF channel 16 to request permission to enter. The Port Authority will provide you with instructions on where to dock and any other important information.

Navigating the Seaport

Exiting the Seaport
