As one of the fastest growing private shipping companies in China, Maple Leaf currently controls a modern fleet of handy/supramax bulkers, coastal containers, product and chemical tankers with versatile deadweight ranging from 7,000 tons to 57,000 tons. Our trading route reaches all over the world with main cargoes being iron ore, nickle, steel products, logs, general cargo, product oil and chemicals, etc. Maple Leaf is widely recognized both domestically and abroad for her flexible vessel type and quality service, and has established long term friendly relationship with various clients. The Shipyard possesses an area of about 340,000 square meters with coastline of 1.5 kilometers. It owns one outfitting quay of 260-meters, one slipway of 30,000 tons, two slipways of 50,000 tons. It also has NC workshop, processing workshop, block workshop, assembly platform (abt.20,000 square meters), four painting house with sophisticated spraying equipments, etc. The ship designers are well trained to be “quick, accurate, excellent”. Quick graphical processing, accurate data collection and excellent designing plan, all provides strong technical support to the production, processing, assembling during vessel construction. The yard conducts its design and construction in strict compliance with the regulation for Tier I ship yard stipulated in Principal Requirements on Construction Condition of Ship Building Enterprises issued by State Commission of Science and Technology for National Defense Industry, thus laying a solid foundation for the yard to become world famous ship building enterprise. The production base of yard is divided into the south plant and north plant. In the north plant, the block-making area is about 30,000 square meters together with the estblished machine shop and storehouse. In the south plant, there lies the general office, painting house, pipe shop woodworking shop and the close type block-making shop that were all put into use in or before October 2007. The yard holds up the spirit of “Domestic base, international vision, faithful performance and constant development”.
