New Dayang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. specializes in the production and construction of commercial and offshore vessels. Its 1.7 million square meter facility, with a 1.5 km usable shoreline and a broad riverbed and steady current, makes it a natural harbor for shipbuilding. The company currently has over 1,100 employees, including over 4,000 contract workers. New Dayang Shipyard boasts a modern shipbuilding model featuring a dock and slipway with two production lines, as well as five jetty-style outfitting piers. The dock is equipped with two 900-ton gantry cranes and features a unique, domestically pioneered three-dimensional assembly area on either side of the dock, creating unique conditions for improving dockyard production efficiency. With state-of-the-art production equipment and advanced processes, New Dayang Shipyard has an annual shipbuilding capacity of 36 ships at full capacity, with a completed deadweight tonnage exceeding 2 million tons. New Dayang Shipbuilding boasts a strong international reputation and competitiveness in its Crown 58K, Crown 63K, and Crown 118K product lines, all with proprietary intellectual property rights. The company has built and delivered China's first PSPC-standard Crown 58K bulk carrier and the world's first Crown 63K bulk carrier to receive the French Bureau Veritas (BV) EEDI certification. Its SPP35 offshore vessel has also been designated a "National Key New Product." In line with the national dual-circulation development strategy, New Dayang Shipbuilding has increased its efforts to develop the domestic trade market, achieving full coverage of the three mainstream domestic trade bulk carrier classes: 60,000-ton, 75,000-ton, and 51,000-ton. New Dayang Shipbuilding is also one of the few domestic shipbuilders capable of building a full range of LPG, LEG, and LNG gas carriers.
