The History of Novorossiysk shipyard started when on 26th January 1918 Common Commissar Council's Decree about nationalization of Merchant Fleet (including all ship repair and shipping companies) was published. On 5th May of 1918 locomotive depot premises located at the foot of the eastern pier and owned by Vladicaucasian railways were passed to the port. Today the shipyard has a reputation to be a highly structured industry which has over 15 workshops equipped with up-to-date equipment, engineering capabilities, two floating docks of 30,000 and 60,000 tones lifting capacity, gantry cranes and cargo handling facilities, repair berths, railways. The repair areas covers over 23 hectares.
Apart from ship repair activity the shipyard offers cargo transshipment services.
The yard started to offer these services to cargo owners in November 2004 and the facilities of Transshipping Complex in the yard have been continuously improved and can now handle over 2,5 million tons of cargo per year.more

Our company began its activity in the sphere of voyage repair (the ship repair works during the voyage of the vessel) since 1995. In that period we served many vessels under the USSR flag.
Since 2000 the company extended its sphere of work and started carrying out the dry-dock repairs using as a base different biggest ship yards of Ukraine among them are Kherson, 61 Communard Shipyard (Nikolayev), Ship repair Yard (Sevastopol).
Since 2004 Castle Holdings LLC finally made a choice on ship building yard “Zaliv” that is the most convenient for ship repair works of the certain spectrum and the amount of the vessels taking into account the size of its dry dock and its berth.
Since the beginning of dock repair the company has been successfully carried out repair works on more than 70 vessels including more than 50 vessels with dead-weight 25000-60000 tonnes and has gotten permanent clients thanks to quality, terms and price of repair.more
