COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd. is located by the river development zone of Jiangdu, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It has a yard area facing the Jia River and bordering the Yangtze River with deep water, slow water flow and stable bank lines, forming a golden waterfront for shipbuilding. The total production area covers 4,200 acres, with 3.5km of coastline. The yard primarily constructs medium-and large-sized vessels, water floating devices and offshore engineering equipment. In the last seven years, the shipyard has focused on building bulk carriers for domestic shipowners and is now targeting international clients. There are currently 38K DWT, 64K DWT and 208K DWT Bulk carriers under construction, as well as 114K DWT, 156K DWT Oil tankers and 9.4K TEU, 10K TEU Containerships. And now, 13.5K TEU containerships, 300K VLCC and 400K Ore carriers are being built.more
