Hubei Huahai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (Huahai Heavy Industry) is located on the Yuwang Riverbank in Huangzhou, on the north bank of the Yangtze River. It was established on 8 July 2008. They manufacture, sell, repair civil steel-ships (i.e. non-military vessels) and also involve in manufacturing / sales / repair of auxiliary marine / mechanical / electrical components: e.g. metal structural parts, ship-electric control systems, etc. The shipyardis equipped with seven 100-ton gantry cranes, two 150-ton gantry cranes, two 200-ton portal cranes, one 300-ton portal crane, and one 600-ton portal crane.
