PSA Sines, part of the global PSA International group, operates Portugal’s deepest-water container terminal, located in the Port of Sines. The terminal handles large container ships and is a key gateway for cargo into the Iberian Peninsula. It provides extensive port infrastructure—including ship-to-shore cranes, yard cranes, quay space, and rail and road connections—to facilitate efficient maritime logistics. PSA Sines is investing heavily into expansion and automation: recent upgrades include new electric automated rubber-tired gantry cranes (aRTGs) and additional quay cranes.
