Besides steel, Cartagena specializes in fiberglass. Also, Navantia Motors Factory, located in this area, markets and produces four-stroke diesel engines, for which it also offers a Life Cycle Support service. These engines are adequate for multiple applications, both in civil and military vessels, tanks and military vehicles, electric power generating stationary and cogeneration plants, and nuclear power plants.
