Bohai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd is a member of the DSIC Group, following a merger in 2019. Opened in 2001, the Bohai Shipyard is based in Huludao, a former military port on the southwest coast of Liaoning Province, 50km east of Jinzhou Airport and with Qinhuangdao Airport 20km to the west. The shipyard focuses on newbuilding projects, and also has the capability to carry out ship repairs and fabricate other large steel structures.
