WUT Guangda stands as a leading high-tech enterprise stationed in Ezhou, situated within the province of Hubei, China. It is a joint venture formed in 2017 between Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) Ship (WUT Ship) and Ezhou Guangda Shipbuilding, focusing on the research, development, and production of various vessels, including bulk carriers, offshore vessels, and ferries. The company, formerly Ezhou Guangda Ship Industry Company Limited, utilized the Ezhou Guangda Shipbuilding facility for its operations. Mar 8, 2021 the company is renamed Ligong Shipbuilding (Ezhou) Co., Ltd. with shareholders including Wuhan Ligong Ship (affiliated with Wuhan University of Technology) and Ezhou Guangda Shipbuilding. The current factory area is 263,000 square meters. It has an excellent deep-water coastline of more than 800 meters, a 30,000-ton dry dock, and five slipways ranging from 3,000 to 15,000 tons. It has more than 400 units (sets) of various shipbuilding equipment (facilities), meeting the requirements of the "hull, superstructure and coating integration" modern shipbuilding model; it has the ability to build various types of ocean-going, near-shore and inland ships below 30,000 tons, and has the ability to repair various types of ships below 10,000 tons in dry dock; it has built more than 300 ships of various types, including ocean platform tugboats, engineering ships, container ships, river-to-sea direct ships, liquid cargo ships, electric push ships, LNG dual-fuel ships, LPG transport ships, high-speed passenger ships, official ships, passenger and vehicle ferries, etc., and its products are well received by usersmore
