SFL takes delivery of LNG-powered PCTC chartered by K Line - LNG Prime

Odin Highway' to SFL Corporation. In a milestone for CSSC's GSI, the third LNG-powered Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) has been handed over to SFL Corporation on January 19. With a 7,000-unit capacity, Odin Highway is part of a four-vessel order placed by SFL, marking GSI's expertise in LNG vessel construction. This follows the earlier deliveries of Emden and Wolfsburg in September and November 2023, both engaged in long-term charters with Volkswagen Group. Odin Highway, along with Thor Highway, is set to commence charter services for Japan's K Line in 2024. The 200m-long, 38m-wide vessels, powered by MAN ME-GI engines and equipped with MAN Cryo's 1.675-cbm LNG storage tanks, reflect the industry's commitment to sustainable shipping.
