Hudong Zhonghua and Total Energies Partner on Advanced LNG Bunkering Vessels

CSSC Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding says of securing a significant contract with Total Energies for the construction of one plus one 18,600 cubic meter LNG bunkering vessels. These vessels will be 135.9 meters in length and 24.5 meters in width and will be classified by Bureau Veritas (BV). The delivery of the first vessel is scheduled for the end of 2026. This contract marks a milestone for Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding, representing the 100th LNG carrier secured by the shipbuilder.

The new LNG bunkering vessel will be operated by Ibaizabal, further enhancing the company’s capabilities in LNG transportation and bunkering services. Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding’s expertise and proven track record in LNG carrier construction played a crucial role in securing this contract with Total Energies.The LNG bunkering vessel will feature advanced technology and design, ensuring high efficiency and environmental performance.
