Rhoads Industries, Inc. was founded in 1938. Over the last 72 years we have brought the best in quality fabrication, field services and industrial maintenance to our clients. We have a large talented and proven team which encompasses fabricators, piping, millwrights, boilermakers, electricians, shipwrights and specialty welders. Rhoads Industries is based in the Mid-Atlantic (Philadelphia, Pa) area of the United States; we have over 200,000 square foot of fabrication under roof with our largest facility located adjacent to deep water with wharf access. Our building 16 is located in the former Philadelphia Navy Yard and is serviced by a 150 ton crane with 75' floor to hook capability. We have the ability to fabricate process equipment, vessels, duct/stacks/breechings, large modular components, and complete skid-mounted packages including all necessary instrumentation and control devices to meet your specifications. We have further grown into a specialty market segment which is a testament to the safe, knowledgeable and skilled tradesmen that make us a partner of choice within Department of Defense, commercial ship and military fabrications and assembly work. We are currently working within the Naval Surface Warfare Center Land-Based Test Facility in Philadelphia, providing fabrications including custom foundations for supporting marine gas turbines. We have also completed numerous bulkhead fabrication for Aker Shipyard, Gun Turrets for Oto Melara NA, and expertise with US Navy's Aegis Missile program teaming with Lockheed Martin Corporation, supporting ORDALT projects on Aegis equipped vessels worldwide.more
